As more organizations have worked to implement agile practices, some teams have found wisdom in Lean Principles to guide them along. Some teams have even found ways to get rid of timeboxed iterations altogether and move towards Kanban – a pull based system for getting things done.
If you’ve heard about Lean and Kanaban, or are interested in hearing more about it, and want to get away from whatever winter weather is your way, do we have a treat for you. On February 18th – 20th in Miami, FL, the first Lean Kanban Conference will be held with some great speakers like David Laribee, David J. Anderson, Corey Ladas (of Scrumban fame, and many others. Registration is limited to 125 people, so get over to the Agile Florida post, download the flyer, and then head over to the Conference site and get yourself registered!
And it’s $800. I’m going to wait for v3 before committing to something that could have been done with a much lower price tag. I look forward to the conference reports.
Well, darn. We’ll find some way to get you down to Florida yet.
